Maria-Elisa "Lisa" Maki is a passionate servant of Jesus Christ who believes that there should be no distinction between our secular and spiritual lives. This belief is something that has grown in her, creating an integration of her business and ministry.
A motivational speaker and professional writer, Maria is also the founder of Step Out, a Christian Non-Profit organization for women. She is also the founder/editor/publisher of an online magazine called God'z Gurlz.
While her professional experience spans over 20 years, her stint in ministry is a little younger. Her career practice includes public relations, advertising, marketing, human resources, corporate communications, and business management, among others. As for her ministry involvement, Lisa pastored a women's prison in the Philippines where she is from. She has conducted Bible-based seminars in corporate offices; has done different outreach programs for poor families and children; has been invited to speak in churches, conferences, schools, and other engagements; has done and continues to do one-on-one counseling and mentorship; and pastored a church with her husband.
Lisa is also the author of Armour Bearer Wife I, and Where is he? -- all for women.
Commissioned as a minister in 2006, Lisa also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
